I've just had this in an e-mail. *Apparently* it's absolutely true!

!It's legal to kill Welshman in the immediate vicinity of Hereford Cathedral in England - but only if it's Sunday and you do it with a longbow from 12 yards. The law dates back to when the church was used as a fort to repel Welsh marauders."

Yes damn right its true, fortunately (or unfortunately if your English and looking to kill a Welshman) all the welsh know about this law too. I first learnt about the law when I was in Swansea University.
