I know that in one state, it is supposedly illegal to chain your aligator to something - maybe a fire hydrant?
There are loads of these strange laws in America. Here are some examples:
In Wilbur, Washington, you can be fined $300 for riding an ugly horse
In Nevada it is illegal to drive down a public highway on a camel
In South Bind, Indiana, it is illegal for a monkey to smoke cigarettes
In Sarastoa, Florida you could wind up in jail for singing in a bikini
In Fairbanks, Alaska, You go to jail if you serve alcoholic beverages to a moose
In North Dakota it is illegal to fall asleep with your shoes on
In Virginia it is illegal to take a bath without your doctor's permission
In Maryland it is against the law to take a lion into a cinema
