Watched Newsround the other night and the childrens news show criticised the complex modern gaming. It then showed off Mario Party 5 before featuring a quote from Satouri Iwata about how gaming needs to evolve and become more fun, it's not about the graphics.

What a pointless but incredibly pro-Nintendo news article.

AND FROM THE BBC!

Which is exactly why I said Animal Crossing DS is a port. It has just a few additions.

Your missing the point... a few additions doesn't consistute a new game. A game built around an old engine does constitute a new game.

Although it'll have the same basic engine, the Animal Crossing DS game should appeal to those who played the original, as it'll have tonnes oif new features, and teh second screen.

So we're arguing over what's a port again now are we?

You seemed to think before a couple of new characters didn't constitute a port :P

New areas? You live in the same basic town you always have done.

And two screens are only used for writing and designing patterns, something that GBA could be used for before.. as a second screen. So not much changed.

It's not a port, it's an online title, new characters, new areas and two screens.
