FM licked the first three fingers of his right hand and stroked his eyebrows, smoothing them down. He turned at, white robes with simple gold embroidery down the front swishing around him as he heard the guard approach.

FM was standing in a simple square room, with four braziers, one in each corner, all burning different colours. These weren’t normal flames however, as they did not give off coloured light, and the room remained smokeless, with a white light seeming to emanate from the walls and floor, with no shadows forming. In the middle of the room were two pedestals, about four feet apart. On top of them was a box. In it was FM’s father. FM turned as the guard stopped, bowing.

“Master.” Said Sniper, raising his head, looking into FM’s cold, hard eyes.
“You have your mission? You are ready to leave?”
“Yes Master.”
“Good.” FM turned back to look at the coffin, licking his fingers and rubbings his eyebrows again as he spoke. “This is just the first part my friend. I will have my revenge, I do not know when, but I will/”
“Yes Master.” There was an edge of concern in Snipers voice.
“What is wrong, my friend?”
“I do not know, Master. I think I am worrying with no reason.”
“Ah. You are concerned about the book, yes?” Sniper lowered his eyes. “Do not fear. I will find the book. MY magic grows with each passing month, soon I will have the power needed to find the book. Then, when it is mine, I will have unimaginable power!” FM felt a shiver run up his spine as he closed his eyes, imagining the power he would wield. He looked at Sniper. “You have your orders.”
“Yes Master Meister.”
“Go. Be swift, and do not fail me.” Sniper turned and left the room.

FM turned back to the coffin. As he walked around it, his fingers traced the inscription carved into the stone. He knew them all, word for word, but their feel comforted him. They were instructions on how to travel the underworld.

Wrath exploded through Meka’s mind. He screamed “No!” in a murderous rage as he leapt off the rock. With both hands he brought the sword up while still in mid-air. When he hit the ground he recoiled, swinging it around from behind in an arc. The sword whistled with its speed. The man had turned as Meka hit the ground. Seeing Meka coming, he brought his own sword up defensively, with lightning speed.

Meka watched as if in a dream as his sword come around. Every ounce of his strength went into trying to make the sword go truer, go faster. Be deadlier. The magic raged with his need. Meka looked from the mans sword, hard into the steel blue eyes. Mekas sword followed the track of his eyes, he heard himself still screaming. The man held his sword straight up, to deflect the blow.

Everything else around the man dissolved in Mekas vision. His anger, the magic, was unleashed like never before. No power on earth could deny him the mans blood.

He finished his arc, the sword coming round at eye height to the side of the mans head. It shattered through the mans sword, and exploded through his chainmail hood, bits of molten twisted metal flying off into the undergrowth. The sword continued its journey, making contact with the mans skull, and continuing through, out the other side of his head.

Bits of bone blood and brain flew up into the air as the early morning air was filled with a cloud of red mist. Steaks of blood covered Meka, dripped down his body, dribbled off his sword as he slowly lowered the point to the ground.

The mans body crumpled slowly to the ground, blood pumping out over the ground, mixing with the puddles already there. Meka could feel the cold mist help cool his body.

“Meka!” Meka awoke, a sheen of sweat over his whole body. “Meka, my brother, are you alright?” asked Grix.
“It was that dream.”
“Again?” Meka nodded in reply.
“Come on, get up, we have to meet the others soon.”
“Who?”
“You know, the others from the village. Dan2K1, Venombyte and Ant.”
“What about er-no, and YH?”
“They said they had something to do. They will meet us later.” Grix helped his brother to sit up.
“Ok, give me a few minutes." Grix nodded and left the room. Meka put his head in his hands as he thought about the dream.

“Master Meister?” FM looked around.
“Yes?”
“I have some bad news Lord, about Sniper.”
“He hasn’t dies again has he?”
“Yes Lord, he fell off his horse.”
“How did that kill him?”
“Into the moat.”
“He can swim.”
“Yes Lord, but as he tried to climb out, he must have pulled the lever, the one you ordered put in?”
“I vaguely remember.”
“That let the piranhas in.”
“Ah. I should have expected something like this. He has a whole bloody palace to have his accidents in. I put all that sponge about so he wouldn’t hurt himself, and yet he falls into the piranha moat. Amazing. Nevermind, he will be back by now. Tell him to continue with his task. Tell him to be more careful next time.”

A year passed, and most of the main villagers made it through the times of trouble. They had built a new village away from their previous home and life, once again, was good.

"Game, Bonus... come quick!" Shouted er-no as he beckoned the two to the Mekla's house.

"What's wrong with him...?!" shouted Ant in a panicky upset voice.

Meka smiled. "You know the sage that blessed me with the special life?"

"Yes" Repled Ant

"Well I needed the moonstones to survive and because we had lots of them I was okay. However, now we have moved on and we've run out of the moonstones we carried..."

"So, your going to die...??" Said Zeldapro as he begasn to cry.

"Maybe", said Meka "Although there is a remedy!"

Everyones face lit up...

"There is a Crysatin Moonstone that would save my life if only I were to touch it. But I am too weak to go to Mount Estadia, It is found there and the journey is long and much of a threat."

"I'll go..." came a voice... "Me too!" came another...

People began to put their names down... the journey would be long and maybe perilous but a group of 10 people were needed... who will they be....

Think you've got what it takes?

Sign up... but you can only sign yourself up no-one else!

These 10 people will go on the quest for the Crysatin Moonstone to save Meka's life!

The rest will have to stay here not knowing what troubles may come.

You decide.... will you go?!

As he died slowly his final words were, "I shall lay my vengeance upon 6 of the members of this forum for you have poisoned my blood. You shall not know who will be killed but I promise by the 6th day of the 6th month 0f the 6th year 6 people will be dead." With that he made one last whimpering scream before dying. The Vottanator stepped out from the shadowy corner of the room and put on his sunglasses. As he walked out the door, FM said to him, "This is the last time I do your dirty work Votta". The Vottanator stops in the doorway and says in a cool, calm voice, "Don't call me Votta" and with that he walks off leaving FM coated in blood with a dead body in front of him.

Meka followed Grix down the hill. He must realise soon surely? Meka told himself. How could he not have noticed? Grix continued down the hill to where TW's bar had stood, until it was burnt down by the ravaging horde. He, Grix, walked right up to where the door had stood, then realisation flooded into his eyes, closely followed by some tears.

"Those gits!" He turned around, "They burnt the bloody pub down!! I can handle losing most things, but not the pub!" Grix collapsed on the floor, sobbing away. Meka tried to comfort him. As he knelt down next to his brother, flashes of the dream flew before his eyes.

He blinked away the image. He still didn't know where it came from. Was it something that was going to happen, in the future? Or had it already happened, during the time when - Meka pushed that thought away. He would never know what happened during that time, it was not worth thinking about.

FM was up in his calling room. The sacrifce was still to be completed. It lay across the altar, drugged, naked to the world, as it had been brought in. As it would leave.

FM had speant several hours drawing out the necessary runes on the floor. It had been difficult for him the first time, with the flickering multicoloured light making concentration difficult. He had done this many times since the first, and his hand was steady as he put the final touches to the complex lines and whorls covering the floor.

The time was nearly upon him. He ached for the underworld now, it's feel, it's embrace. The fact he could get information was now secondary to him. He yearned for the rapture. The thought of it aroused him.

He stripped off, folding his clothes and putting them carefully in the corner. Before he walked to the altar, he got out the curved knife he keapt at his belt. The flicking light reflected off his body as he walked over to the altar.

He looked down at the sacrifice, looked into its eyes. Raised the curved knife.

"No, please-" The words were cut off as the knife slipped into the warm flesh of the boy. FM was in a state of rapture as the screams filled the room.

"Grix?"

Meka spotted him, as he stumbled out of the small... wherever the hell they were.

"Yeah? What?"

Meka spoke calmly. "Where are thy going?"

"I'm going down the pub. Don't bother me."

Grix regained his footing, and swayed his way to the pub...

While everyone was trying to get Game to wake up, YH finally noticed that Ant was still lying on the floor, unconscious!!

YH got some of the sugar the Community had left, and put it to Ant's nose.

Ant suddenly sat up, and ate the sugar.

"Ant! What happened!? We all forgot about you!"

"Well that makes a change..." Ant mumbled. "Look, I was just looking for some extra food, and suddenly someone jumped me from behind!"

er-no turned, and asked, "Was he a member of the Community?"

Ant shook his head and said, "He told me, just before he knocked me unconscious, that he was a rebel. He was against FantasyMeister and his cronies, and he didn't like us much either. Then he told me his name."

Meka looked troubled, "His name didn't happen to be...SHEEPY, did it?"

Ant looked stunned, "Yes, but how did you know?!"

Meka shook his head, "You will find out soon enough," he said darkly.

FM licked his lips and ran them over the scar on the side of his head. It had not been a good day. Sniper had died, again, something little accident involving a banana and a tube of vaseline...

The Orgres weren't at the top of FM's favourite things list either. They had attacked the village, as planned, but of the people he wanted dead, namely Meka, Grix, Ant, YH, er-no, Tarrant and Eduardo had somehow escaped.

The only good thing was that Ice had wandered off thinking he knew where the sword was. FM smiled to himself, what a fool! Did he really think the sword would still be in the swamp? FM had sent some of his best after the sword months ago. No, he didn't need to worry about Ice.

But Grix, Meka and YH may cause him problems, and now that Tarrant had turned up with the other sword, the sister to the one he wanted, well that vexed him. He was reasonably sure the one he was after was the more powerful of the two. But 'reasonably sure' wasn't enough.

He stalked out of his room, to go to his calling chamber. He had to speak with things from the underworld.....

Tarrant, Er-no and Zeldapro walked on to find some information on the might sword.

Through burning buildings, dead bodies and smoke, the three men walked on in their search.

After about one hour of walking, sweat and blood, Ice Blaster appeared.

Er-no- Ice, Please can you tell is any information on the sword, the all mighty sword.

Ice Blaster who had been lazing around at home, said " The sword you talk about, the legends have said, that a man, alone, has to retrieve the sword from the Jungle of Humba Wumba".

Tarrant- "i have heard of such a jungle, It is firece and dangerous... Though the sword will be worth our while"

Zeldapro- "I will retr.....

...Ice- "No, you stay and rest, I will act on my duty and retrieve the sword, stay with me, and depart before I enter.

The four men walked the vicious journey to the Jungle of Huma Wumba. They were tired, hungry and bloody.

The entrance of the Jungle drawded close with each step, until they were a breathe away.

Ice- "depart, I will contuinue alone!"

Ice enterd the Jungle, and to his surprise, all was quite. He walk through the Jungle maze. Noises scared Ice, but he new he had to get the sword. He tripped over some vines as a creature hurtled past.

Out of no were, a BEAR attcked Ice. Ice fought the bear with his bare hands. The bear was to strong for Ice, until another noise, a high pitched screech hurtled through the Jungle. The bear ran.

Ice picked himself up, hurt and battered, but new to continue. Thr creepy jungle worried Ice. He was lost.

A Vulture swooped low and just missed the head of ice. He ran, but to tired, stopped to take a breathe. The vulture again swooped low, Ice ducked and the Vulture missed.

After hours of walking... The SWORD!!! He could see it.. through the bushes. He crept to the bushes, and before he knew it he was sinking... a Muddy Swamp........

Ogres, evil scavangers plaging the town, with only a few people trying to hold them off from harming most, while the village burned!!

And of that party was Zeldapro!

The city had been attacked violently, most building were eithr badly damaged, burned to the ground, or still burning, ruble lay everwhere covered by the corpses of the villagers, and the Ogres and mosters that attacked and only a few left wandering the remains.

Of the corpses lying there lay zeldapro, pierced in the leg, and laying behind a brick wall, sweating and breathing heavily and bleeding.

Tarrant and er-no wondered the village in amazment, not beleiving what had become of the village they were now standing in.

Nearly everyone they saw was either dead, or dying quickly, until they found zeldapro amongst the rubble they dragged him into the light and bandaged his leg. Once able to move more with greater ease, they finished off the ogres and remaining Scanvangers, and went in search of armour, and weaponry.

Pulling spears, swords arrows and picking up lost bows from the ground they managed to start collecting weapons, also from the villagers ex-houses they found family weapons like battle axes treasured armour and daggers.

But to continue their journey and battle they had to find a sword so powerful it could kill, any living being, or object with one swift clean blow, slice through metal armour, through enemy swords and rocks, but finindg it was a quest in its self and would take all their skill and effort....
