Remember me? The Xbox fanboy who sold his Xbox for a PC, "gamezfreak", the guy who had continous arguements with Tiltawhirl/Maverick42/Dringo about how "gay the gaycube" is, then went out and bought one?
Well after living without the console for about 7 months, I'm getting withdrawal symptoms, the Xbox was one beastly piece of kit, and I want it back. I'm bored of the PC gaming world, I'm actually running a linux system at the moment, so I generally don't play PC games anymore.
So this is where the Xbox comes in, to give me something to play games on.
PC = Linux, Programming, Movie editing, Website editing etc
Xbox for gaming.
Being so long away from the console, I am really unsure as to "what is what" nowadays, what games are "in" at the moment?
Has Halo 2 come out yet?
Give me some reccomendations and stuff, yeah, I want some inspiration and motivation to go out and purchase the machine.
Can the Xbox play VCD's by any chance?
Not everyone has stupid amounts of days off during the summer.
I'm sure that websites will start shipping on the Monday though to make sure you get it for release though.
They should have released it during the 6 weeks holiday so that I can play it without worrying about school.
You never know though, they might arrange a special Tuesday release because it's so highly anticipated...
These are the same people that said the game would be released before Christmas last year.
> It's due out in America on November 9th. Apparently not released here

Uh-uh.
They said it will be released World Wide on the 9th November, Europe and America are getting it at the same time.

"Q
When does Halo 2 come out?
A
It's official! Halo 2 will be released in the U.S. and Europe on November 9th, 2004. Halo 2 should be available very soon after in other markets but exact dates are TBD."
So the fatties in America won't be able to get their hands on the levels before us which is just excellent news for Xbox Live players. I think I'm gonna have to book the week off work, really can't see myself concentrating on my job when Halo 2's sitting at home begging to be played.
I predict a week or a maximum of 2 weeks after the US release. Though nothing official has really been said on the European release. The UK Xbox.com site says November 2004 so fingers crossed we'll get it around the same time as the US.
