"F1 2001"

I know anyone out there who has it will agree that F1 2001 is undoubtably the best F1 game on any console. I myself traded in F1 Championship 2000 to get it and boy am I glad the difference is amazing- graphics, presentation, AI options, setup, everything on this game is miles better.
What I would like to know is this:
Does anyone have any decent gear ratio settings for the Mclarens and Jaguars, the process of trial and error to find good ones is long and boring (worse than GT's) any advice or tips would be most appreciated.

Last chance before I print this out, does anyone have any more ideas that they want to be passed on to Studio Liverpool, or have found any bugs to report?

i always thought f1 games wud b better wiv mor choice ova the car n ther was an option to test ur car in wind tunnel etc

The game took a right p*** out of me today!I was doing the Brazil GP.I lapped Schumaher TWICE, everyone else about 4 or 5 times.I was on lap 55 out of 71.I just lapped Hakkinen again.I was looking at him in the rear mirror taking the mickey out of him....and the next thing I know-I am crashed into the barrier and out of the race!!!!!!1

I guess it had stopped raining because the times suddenly got 15 seconds faster.

I have just found the worst bug in this game yet (or the best, depending how you look at it).

I was doing qualifying for Silverstone on 100%. It was raining and I had completed my 12 laps with 10 mins to go and was 5th.
While I was waiting for the session to end, it stopped raining and the times started to improve (as they should). But then all of a sudden I shot into pole position without lifting a finger and still waiting in the pits.

So now I am in pole position when really I ended my session down in fifth!

D'oh!! I've just seen on IGN that the U.S version of F1 2001 (Studio Liverpool) IS compatible with the GT Force wheel!!! Now I know what the Japanese must feel like when a game comes out in other countries later than in Japan and has improvements.
