Err i appear to deleted all my music by accident. I went into Library and thinking i was clearing the records, deleted the saved files. They've not gone to the recycle bin so i cant just restore them.
It's 2 years worth of downloads and rare songs that it took me ages to find, so i will cry if i cant get them back. Can anyone help?

This thread is nearly 5 months old. I dont know why it's been popped.
I think i got back around 80% of the tracks i had, unfortunately i lost most of hidden gems because i couldnt remember them all. On the other hand though i needed a clearout and i've picked up a load of new stuff since then.

Do you have a Ipod..Creative Zen or any other MP3 player. if you do the songs should still be on it, if u plug it in, it will take you to the MP3 music libary, there u can just transfer the music over (copy and paste or drag and drop)
if that dont work, then hope u got tissues :D

hope i helped,

steve

If i was to take a guess i'd say about 50 will be very difficult to find again. Thankfully Limewire is helping me out and i've got my recent media playlist and Last FM to give me an idea of whats gone but it's going to take me a while.

At least you managed to save some. Are they 200 rare songs or can you get them back?

Indeed I have, took me a fair few minutes before I knew even where to click!

Hated it, the whole thing, right down to 'minimising'. To me, they're a shambles. A nice try, and welcomed effort, but just not for me at all.

Yes.

I've got the old "lamp" style iMac which I prefer design-wise (it's great being able to move the screen around so easily) but the latest iMacs are seriously nice; powerful, too.

Stephen Fry is an avid Mac user, owning three iMac Core Duos, two Mac minis, two MacBook Pros, a dual-processor Power Mac G5, a PowerBook G4 and an iMac G5.

Sold! Now I just need to save some pennies.
