The "General Games Chat" forum, which includes Retro Game Reviews, has been archived and is now read-only. You cannot post here or create a new thread or review on this forum.
However, this topic was beaten by a topic entitled "SEGA and Nintendo Killed Originality in Video Games". I don't think this topic deserved to win and I thought mine was far better. All I want to know is why didn't I win? Is there a specific reason? Could someone from SR tell me so I can improve next time.
I would appreciate it if someone from SR could reply to this so I know they've at least read it.
My topic is this:

The winner is this:

Number of new posts on SR Forums per day:
30,000 approx.
Average word length
40 approx.
Therefore total number of words posted PER DAY
1,200,000 approx.
Reading at a speed of 10 words per second (fast) this lot would take over 33 hours for one person to read.
Go figure...
Yes, the judges decision is final. There are times when i feel my posts are better than the one's picked.
I posted a topic called- 'REVIEW Virtua Tennis' in the Sega Dreamcast forum on the 3/7.
I thought it was good enough but ahh.... it didnt win.
Im not whinging either, obviously it wasnt good enough and I accept that, why cant others?
Oh... and please take a read at the review. Pity it cant be posted properly in the review section of the site.
Just let it die out when it does, we've got nothing better to chat about.

Seriously, I'm not whining. I accept that it didn't win so can you tell me why it didn't win so I can write a better one next time.
> I still think they don't like me.
I'm sure they do, but with all your bloody whinging and complaining they're less likely to choose you.
Funnily enough though, complaining ALWAYS seems to be the way to win.
Remember Ice Cube? He complained about not winng and BAM, a day later there was his name on the winners list. And that bloke form the DVD forums. He complained about not winning FAD and the next day, guess what? He won.
