On the first of July, I posted my best topic to date entitled "Macots: Past, present and future". I felt this had a really good chance of winning. Normally I don't post to win but I really want GT3 and I can't afford it.
However, this topic was beaten by a topic entitled "SEGA and Nintendo Killed Originality in Video Games". I don't think this topic deserved to win and I thought mine was far better. All I want to know is why didn't I win? Is there a specific reason? Could someone from SR tell me so I can improve next time.
I would appreciate it if someone from SR could reply to this so I know they've at least read it.

I hadn’t realised that my win would be the cause of so much consternation.
Believe me, I was as surprised as anyone was at my recent GAD win... Especially since I had both placed it within the FOG (Chat) forum, and because, after initially writing the post, I immediately posted, completely failing to re-read and check the posts coherence (which, throughout, the post often fails to maintain :) )...
Despite these flaws, I do intend to claim a win (since there are a couple of titles about to be released, which I wouldn’t mind playing around with).
However, I certainly don’t wish to be the cause of any discord, and so intend, henceforth to remove myself from these forums. Effective immediately.
Please accept my apologies for any/all disruptions and disturbances caused
