"Why did I not win? Explanation please"

On the first of July, I posted my best topic to date entitled "Macots: Past, present and future". I felt this had a really good chance of winning. Normally I don't post to win but I really want GT3 and I can't afford it.

However, this topic was beaten by a topic entitled "SEGA and Nintendo Killed Originality in Video Games". I don't think this topic deserved to win and I thought mine was far better. All I want to know is why didn't I win? Is there a specific reason? Could someone from SR tell me so I can improve next time.

I would appreciate it if someone from SR could reply to this so I know they've at least read it.

Nobody that understands Bill Hicks will be put off by people and what they might say or think.

The easiest thing to do is to just leave this topic well alone and let dust settle.

Look guys I think this has gone far too far.

I was merely asking why his won over mine so I could have a better chance of winning next time. I might have been midly complaining at the time but that was the main jist of this post.

Dan2K1 made extensive and very offensive complaints but he didn't get all this!

I know it is hence the "highly unlikely" comment at the end.

Just because the winners list hasn't been updated doesn't mean he hasn't claimed.

I won't buy it that he was only here for the games, he was a top bloke who always had something interesting to say.
