What is the worst final fantasy game Squaresoft has made.

Final Fantasy IX It was terrible. Monkey boy didn't cut the mustard did he.

I quite enjoyed FFIX. Admittedly it was a little simple, but graphically it was nice and the gameplay was good fun.

I agree wiv lalakersrule, I felt like throwing my controller at the screen in the hope that it would hit Princess Garnet in the face on the third disc.

FFX not the game but the really sad story. So sad that they had to make a happier sequel with a happy ending.

Cant agree with you more.

because X2 was just crap. it had no storyline, the characters were annoying and the game was incredably easy.

I don't get how people can praise FF5 for the job system, and then say FFX-2 is rubbish when it uses the same job system.

Rating, from best to great... (That I've played...)

FFIX : Great concept and art, was a bit easy though... Still, love airships, love FFIX.

FFVII : Mmmm... Best plot, spikey hair man and a big sword. Need I say more?

FFX : Blitzball! Whoa! Also, great levelling up system...

FFVIII : Too hard, stupid levelling up system... Introduced Tetra Master though, so still pretty good

FFVI : Wahey. Kifa. Creepy. Haven't played through much...

My rankings would be like this

FF7 - Best in the series
FF Tactics - Not actually properly in the series but still a great game
FF6 - Great game and got to love Kefka
FF5 - Love the job system
FF4 - Good decent game
