Sorry but i'm p***ed off at Halo 2 littering the Xbox forum. So i'm making yet another one (sorry) which will be used for everything Halo 2 related such as:

Halo 2 Questions
Any Halo 2 Links
General Halo 2 chat
Your Opinions on the game
You can even set up Xbox Live games with people when the game hits the shelves (whooppee)

And I will post any and all current info on Halo 2

P.S. Please use this as the main HALO 2 TOPIC forum so hundreds of 'halo' thread don't clog up the, erm 'wonderful' Xbox forum

Danke

Nope. Cause it was the E3 build and E3 had elites. I'm certain because I ran right up close with dual SMGs shooting and he looked pretty ugly to me :D

I drove the 'Hog :D

Drove around pressing the horn repeatedly. It wasted a lot of my time but it was so funny.

I, personally, wasn’t really looking forward to dual wielding just wanted to use the battle rifle really and I have to say dual wielding rules. It felt so good to have 2 SMGs and start emptying them into an elite :D

Did anyone else get to play CTF at Gamestars Live, waited about 1hr 5mins which was pretty lucky considering most people on here who went said they was waiting over 2hrs. Thought it was pretty good tho but didnt get much from it in 5mins, managed to duel wield which was cool taking out people with two SMG's, didnt get a go on any vehicles tho but did blow up a Warthog.

Gamestars Live was pretty good achieved most of what I wanted to do, Pro Evo 4, Halo2, kept going on Burnout 3 which I will defo be getting and got one of those goodies bags which I was expecting to be full of 10p pens and stickers...woo-hoo a demo. Was blown away to have played Halo2 and tried repeatedly to get back on it but those geeks were having none of it and I wasn't prepared to wait in that queue again. Only thing I really missed there was Price of Persia 2 and the other crappy games there

Not really big news but there will be a custom headset for Halo2 for the LIVE Play. Extract taken from Gamespot

Plantronics, creator of the Xbox Live headset controller, said it would introduce a custom, high-end headset for the upcoming release of Halo 2. The officially licensed GameCom Halo 2 Edition headset is branded with the Halo 2 name and logo, and it will feature an optimized speaker, a noise-canceling microphone, and "custom fit." It ships to retail in October 2004, at an MSRP of $49.99. Also available in Europe at about £20-35
