Does it feel like "Halo" though or have they completely re-vamped the way the game handles?

It's the frequent changeovers that get me. Anyway, I'm lost already on the second level :(

Story is poorly explained, thats my only problem with it

What does interest me though is how good the single player is. This is what they were really working on according to Bungie yet it seems to have taken a back seat for LIVE.

What they are doing with LIVE though is nothing that hasn't been done in previous Unreal Tournament games.

Watching the IGN walkthrough of the LIVE play made it look like Unreal Tournament only with limitations. Until I play it I have no idea of how long it will keep me interested as I have played so many games like it in the past that the formula became tedious. Unreal Tournament 2004 is a superb game but that is purely made for online so I'm not expecting anything like it.

As I said though, it is all down to how it plays online, games handle differently so it is just a case of waiting until Saturday.

I still havent been on the LIVE play but im pretty sure that is the strength of the game. Im not complaining about Halo 2 its an awesome game and great to play but the storyline is confusing and muddled up.

Perfect Dark was also way over hyped. People complained about the crap storyline and the fact that there was no massive difference in the single player campaign. The only massive overhall was the multiplayer mode which looks to be the same in Halo 2 as well.

Still I loved PErfect Dark even if a lot of people didn't.

Well we really did over-hype Halo 2, was playing it most of last night and my expectations were so high, the cut scenes are pretty awesome and graphics are great but think we have expected to much of this game and the story is bit crap and the return of certain enemies is explained awfully and when everyone gets their hands on it you'll know what i'm talking about. I have no complains it is a great game but the story so far is dispointing apart from a few twists which blow your mind
