Fast and the Furious 3: Tokyo Drift

Its rubbish really. The story is pathetic and the set pieces are unbelievable (the Japanese Yakuza settling a problem with some punk kid by having a car race? I dont think so), but the only reason you would go to see this film is for the cars anyway and the races all look great. It was as fun to watch as the other two, possibly even better than #2 and there is a nice surprise at the end for fans of the series.

If you are wanting some great acting, a heart wrentching story and some brilliantly detailed drama, then this isnt for you. If you want Japanese girls in short skirts driving customised sports cars then I think you'll love it.

Fired Up : Its about 2 teenage jocks (who look nearer 30 than 18 !) who find out that their summer football training holiday is going to be in the middle of nowhere in baking hot Texas and therefore face a summer of no girls.They hatch a plan to pose as cheerleaders for their schools underperforming squad so they go can go to cheerleader camp instead.Its dumb,totally unoriginal (in fact its hard to think of a teen movie it doesn't blatantly rip off) and its very predictable,yet somehow its quite hard to really dislike it.Its harmless enough nonsense and raises far more smiles than it does laughs.Its also fairly tame for film of its kind,certainly when compared to the likes of Superbad,Sex Drive etc.I also reckon its a film girls may actually enjoy more than lads,seen worse 6/10.

Couldn't agree more. This film had so much potential, great idea, good cast... but an extreme lack of anything funny bar 1 or 2 parts.

That's what everyone else is thinking too. There is absolutely no reason to do a sequel. (IMDB rating is currently 4.1)

I've got Blade Runner for tonight. Never seen it in full before.

Yeah,thought Tropic Thunder was poor myself.What was that retarded dance Tom Cruise did at the end all about ?.

Wanted : Only just got round to seeing this.Its rubbish really,but it is quite watchable rubbish 7/10.
