I think the last time was in january.
Next week I'll be losing my temping job, and will probably have some time before I get a new one.
While it'll be bad for my wallet, I'll have lots of time on my hands, and I figure I can afford to treat myself once.
So, Cube or GBA, I'm looking for a game, one that'll make me want to play it.
Recommend me something
Go for Burnout 2 if you want something like that.
Anyone know when it'll be at platinum price?
Alternatively there is the PC option, but you'll need a pad.
> Fifa 2004 - You'll never get bored of this game
Pro Evo 3 > Fifa 2004 > Pretty much most other footy titles
Fifa 2004 - You'll never get bored of this game
Timesplitters 2 - Can get this for cheap and is slightly like Goldeneye 007.
Need for Speed: Underground: Best racing game on the Gamecube and you can't really go wrong with this. I'm not the greatly into racing games, but this one had me playing it all day on the christmas holidays.
True Crime: Streets of LA: If you like games like Grand Theft Auto, then this is the game for you.
Super Smash Bros Melee: You'll get this very very cheap and it'll be great if you bring some mates around, especially on 4 player.
Mario Kart: Double Dash: Decent game, but doesn't last very long. Still worth getting.
Legend of Zelda: Windwaker: If you love games where you have to think, then you'll love this game. If you don't get bored of games easily and like to complete them, then you'll enjoy it.
Mario Sunshine: Get this for cheap aswell. It'll take you around a month to complete it and then you'll probably never play it again. Still worth getting.
Viewtiful Joe is a good bet if you want a trickier game, but chances are it may not be your cup of tea. As with Ikaruga, its a very hard title that, if you can get into and enjoy, will love.
If you want a safe bet, I really like Avalanche...there's many a good game at the moment really. Toadstool Tour?
I don't really want to list the games I have, as there's loads for my cube (though very few for my gba).
I figure animal crossing or harvest moon would require a bit too much of my time, I'm looking for something to play a couple of hours on, a couple of times a week.
Big games that I didn't buy:
Viewtiful Joe
F-Zero
SSX / 1080
MGS
FF-CC
Ikaruga
And any for the gba.
and loads of others. Basically anything good released in the last year, I don't have.
Anything good released over a year ago, I've probably got.
I was looking at sword of mana, worth a go?
