All those Flood just running at you its immense. At the moment im on the last bit with that massive 3km drive to the ship in a Warthog.
Great is all I can say now I see why its rated so highly.
If you really want to bring other games into it, I would like to point out how the Special Ops in Half-Life have superior AI to the cleverest enemy in Halo. So..that's a negative progression over four years. Nice.
Metroid Prime was so superior with its auto aiming system and ever strafing enemies that seemingly move up in down in front of you void of any remote intelligence.
They are games involving Alien creatures, what the hell do you expect?
Riddick on the other hand blows both completely out of the water.

If the point of a game is to produce fun, and you had more fun with SS than Halo, that therefore makes SS a better game (for you), regardless of technical ability or craftsmanship.
I didn't realise the definition of 'hardcore shooter' was 'walk forwards whilst holding the trigger down'.
Maybe some sort of...enemy intelligence or a room that wasn't long and straight would have made it better.

Their annoying little fcukers, esp in The Library level
Now before you all burn me at the stake, I'm not saying Serious Sam is better, it's obvious Halo's the better game, I've just got a lot more fun out of the former, and isn't that the point of playing games?
