The lastest news about Tottenham involves them preparing to make a bid for the excellent striker Andrei Shevchenko. This would be absolutely brilliant for Tottenham if they signed him as he would be able to once again partner Sergei Rebrov, who he partnered when they both played for Dynamo Kiev and also when they both play for their country, Ukraine. He s a prolific goal scorer and has been for both club and country for quite a few years. If Tottenham were to sign him, it would show that they have got a lot of ambition, but they would have a lot of competition from other clubs who would also want to sign Shevchenko.

Well there is no chance now, as Shev has signed a 1 year extension on his contract, keeping him to Milan until 2006!

Finally, AC Milan are no longer one of the best teams in the world. When was the last time you saw them playing Champions League football? I think it was quite a few years ago.

Milan were in the champions league last season, they were in the same mini league as Leeds.

comparing to what exactly? they guy is world class. in this country sverage players shine easily, but even world class players find it hard to shine in countires like italy and spain.

If he does join spurs (i highly doubt it) i'm sure he would absolutly storm the premiership. Not many world class players have come to the premiership. to be honest i cant think of one. Veron (if he does join utd) will be the biggest name to join the premiership in its history.

Hmmm, I think Andrei Shevechenko's overrated. Don't get me wrong, he's a good player but...

I am a Spurs fan so of course I am going to say that they are a good side, even though they haven't shown that in recent years.
