Is on order and should be arriving in my letterbox early this week. Looks a beast, anyone had a play of it?

Also got Ninja Gaiden last week, which is awesome, although highly frustrating in parts. I'm currently getting my head kicked in by those tanks. I switched it off before my urge to snap the thumbsticks off my s controller got the better of me.

All Good stuff!

Got this game this afternoon. Only on level 1. It rocks! I'm lovin the graphics, sound and the whole war experience feeling you get when you play it. Reminds me of those quality films, eg: Black Hawk Down. Also, the smart-azz guy you have on your squad is funny. I think he's the one in training who said something like when he got to use frags "I finally get to use this mother------" and the guy on the radio was like "hey ?????" Then he called it by it's proper name, lol. All the normal chat they do along their missions, some jokes, a bit of of language, chit chat. It adds to the realistic experience, it's how they would talk in real life. I didn't think it would be this good. I'm on level 1 as I said and already I see why this game has got reviews no lower than 9.2 :-)

I think I may sell my FSW, for some much needed funding.

Are the controls easy to get used to then?

Finished it today - enjoyed every zekistani wasting minute of it. hungry for more, although I had a crack at the official training version and it seemed a bit flat. and why did they change the controls? cretins.

oh well, it's back to Ninja Gaiden for me then, which despite being an excellent game, has the ability to enrage me to the point of crushing the joypad into dust.

I did check, seriously - maybe that daft amount of alcohol I consumed last night brained my damage.

I found it within a minute of being on gamefaqs... So i'm presuming you're just lazyand never actually went there to trick me into getting it.

I'm so pathetic.

Well having played it to death, I think I can safely say I love the game. There are some silly occasional glitches, where my team won't shoot an enemy who is stood about 10 feet away with no cover, for no particular reason, and the fact that sometimes they take the most stupid routes to their destination, putting themselves directly in the line of fire. Also, as has been said it is a bit linear - there's pretty much only one way to effectively beat certain enemies. But I still think it's a beast, and certainly the most realistic war game I've played, including the medal of honor series.

so, this password you mentioned, can you tell me what it is, and where I enter it? i'd be intrigued to try the other version, as I'm almost at the end of the main game anyway (I think)

thinking strongly about getting FSW! downloaded 12min Demo Clip with commantary from one of the makers whatever, and it looks extremely relaistic! best war game out there. Watching the Clip was like watching Black Hawk Down. looks great, and easy to control. Thumbs up from me! *****
