Ok, Something weird is going on with bungie at the moment, give me a moment to explain: In the halo 2 theatrical trailer at the very end when the Xbox sign appears... look down at the www.xbox.com it very quickly changes to another website then back again...

Don't just click the link then close it. look at some of the pages and just scan it. It's weird, Like it's been hacked, the webmaster supposedly doesn't know what's going on. It has some kind of countdown which counts down to the end of August and the start or September, obvious thoughts would think it would be a new trailer or something but what if it's a major announcement about a new game-mode or something.



Trust me when i say it's freaky.

No. If i can recall back to a certain part. The person who is talking is female. I'm sure of it. And unless MC had her voice altered, i'm doubting MC is female.

This isn't MS. This is someone from bungie or MSN or someone from MS (not MS as a company, just someone who wants to prat about) or a very clever hacker. I'm not sure which. But it is incredibly clever.

Also it sounds like a Spartan going crazy in the story though im not if it could be Master Chief or not. I cant be bothered to read it but is there any mention of the numbers 117?

Yup, found some other stuff but its like mixed in with the text, about a ship going missing etc Still at least MS seems to be gearing up the HALO 2 media ready for a good Christmas - let's face it, Halo 2, as long as it is as good as we all hope, is what's going to shift the console and Live this Christmas and beyond. Certainly Halo 2 now has nothing to worry about regards Killzone now.

And, as long as this is MS doing this, which it must be really with the link being on the cinema advert, it shows MS is not neglecting the single player mode/storyline in favour of Live.

That countdown is what an officer of a ship is meant to do if a Covenant enemy boards the ship. I have no idea what the countdown is about though release date of Halo?

It does tell a story. I can figure that much out. But the order is scatterd about and when you get that piece of the story is random. However. I think i have all the parts of it. Just re-arranging them will be a female dog.

It's only slightly messed up, I tell you.

After tha rant...play around with the site, there is a specific order to click through the links etc and it obviously tells some kind of story - if you do not do the links in an order then you do not get the stuff appear. Here's another bit;

I'd written quite a bit about this...but when I clicked post this message it threw up the swear filter because apparently I'd used the word " d i k e s", clicked back and it had all gone so not typing it out again.

Notes to SR -

1) It's spelt "d y k e s" when used in the way SR is referring to it.
2) By even having it as a word - it's slang - which is blocked you're actually reinforcing the slang usage of the word instead of deterring it.
3) Finally, I have never ever ever seen any single person, in 4 or so years, even have a topic related to "the word you banned".
