Ok, Something weird is going on with bungie at the moment, give me a moment to explain: In the halo 2 theatrical trailer at the very end when the Xbox sign appears... look down at the www.xbox.com it very quickly changes to another website then back again...

Don't just click the link then close it. look at some of the pages and just scan it. It's weird, Like it's been hacked, the webmaster supposedly doesn't know what's going on. It has some kind of countdown which counts down to the end of August and the start or September, obvious thoughts would think it would be a new trailer or something but what if it's a major announcement about a new game-mode or something.

The game already has an ESRB rating. The ESRB only grades FINAL COPIES. That means that the game is finished.

I'm sorry. But where was this file hosted? MSN, and although is MS, isn't directly MS. And who gave the file to MSN? Bungie.

And as for the clever hacker. It'd be unlikely.

Sorry but you're plain wrong. The URL to the website is included in the Halo 2 theatrical trailer - grab it from Fileplanet and see. There is an xbox.com URL on the final screen of the trailer which momentarily goes to that specific website URL, then back to the xbox.com one.

So it IS MS. MS's guy at E3 during the press conference promised they had a big marketing/promotion plan for the game ready to go, this looks like the first part of it...
