Ok, Something weird is going on with bungie at the moment, give me a moment to explain: In the halo 2 theatrical trailer at the very end when the Xbox sign appears... look down at the www.xbox.com it very quickly changes to another website then back again...

http://www.gametrailers.com/gt_vault/t_halo2_theatrical.html

see?

What website i hear you ask?

Well. this one:

http://www.ilovebees.com

Don't just click the link then close it. look at some of the pages and just scan it. It's weird, Like it's been hacked, the webmaster supposedly doesn't know what's going on. It has some kind of countdown which counts down to the end of August and the start or September, obvious thoughts would think it would be a new trailer or something but what if it's a major announcement about a new game-mode or something.

Trust me when i say it's freaky.

Not the first time websites have been used to promote nerdy stuff (remember the Matrix?), but it's still cool. I wonder if there are any more out there? Anyone tried google searches for the more obscure terms? I know you have, so don't be shy, you're amongst geeks here...

It's meant to be nerdy. Get everyone who's even remotely a nerd hyped up about Halo 2.

There plan seems to be working on inspecting other forums.

They didn't know where the Covenant homeworld was there orders were to capture a Covenant vessel (which they were going to do when Reach fallen) but failed so they were still searching when they came across Halo. They were then going to take the Covenant ship into uncharted Covenant space and capture the queen Covenant so a Bee/Hive heirarachi (sp?) is apparent. Also im not sure but did anyone see the Covenant Behemoths in the game?

BTW in the books the humans already know where the Covenant homeworld is, that was what the ship in the HALO game was going for before the Covenant attack Reach base. They were going to capture one of the covenant leaders. Reach gets attacked and, unable to help, they jump out of the system but get pursued, ending up at Halo.

Maybe it's Flood related and not just Covenant? Or...some new race Bungie has kept secret?

Also there is no chance this is Bungie acting without MS say so, on something like this even Bungie wouldn't be able to mess around.

Whats interesting to note, is that on that blog you linked to, there is some really strange reply's that seem to be "bee" related.

"Hm, hope I didn't drone on too long..."

Hmmm.....

"Don't worry honey, there's a group of us (some have already posted) willing to comb through the morass and help ease the sting of this violation of your website. We've got a sort of hive-mind, if you will, that has busted through problems such as this in the past - we're all avid workers in that regard."

Sounds like these posts we're carefully placed into this deliberate blog.

<-Now for gamesfreak's theory on the ilovebee's ordeal.->

My knowledge of bee-ecology is limited, but I do understand how bee colony's work to some degree. If you compare the ecology of how bee's work to Halo's covanent forces, you start to get some idea's on what this is all about.

Firstly, bee's in a colony are born and assigned into special "classes" lets say: -

Workers - Grunts, Jackals (sp?) etc

Function: The workers are all sterile females. Their functions are to feed and care for the larvae, build, clear and guard the hive and search for food. The workers change their jobs according to their ages.

Covenent link: Build, Clear and guard the hive. These are the lowest class, and their aim is to protect the covenant homeworld from attack.....
-----------

Drones - Elites, Hunters etc

Function: Mate with the Queen. Drones develop in special cells from unfertilized eggs laid by the queen. The young queen may mate with several drones before returning to the hive. The queen takes only one mating flight. She receives enough sperms from the drones to use throughout her life. The sperms are stored in a sac inside her body.

Covenent link: Mate with the Queen.

-----------

Queen - ?

-----------
The latter is the key here, this website details the horror of someone in a shipwreck/crash, yes? It sounds as if they have encountered something.....

Crash landed into the hive (covenant homeworld?)

Discovered the Queen (the covanent leader)

Encountered something that we need to know about.

The key question here is, What did he find?

I have way too much time on my hands

EDIT: Other stuff I found on the site: -

"Wise and powerful is Almighty Zeus!" said the Queen Bee.
"Grant me, I pray you, a poison sting, so that when the humans
come to steal my honey, I may kill them."

Steal honey? Is that what the covanent are attacking us for? We have something of theirs I reckon.

*speculates*

MAYBE...

Bungie payed Margaret millions so they could have her site to use as a hoax but meanwhile Margaret is planning to kill the Bungie company and destroy the world.
