Long shot maybe, but is anyone here selling a Panasonic Q? It must be fully boxed and in mint condition. Also needs to be US/JAP modified. English remote faceplate preferable but not essential.

Name a price and maybe we can talk :-)

Otherwise, any recommendations on where to get on cheaper than Lik-Sang? I've tried eBay and there's only 1 at the moment in the UK, but it's unboxed with no manuals or anything.

Thanks ye.

Just thought - can I not ask Lik-Sang to 'mark down' the Q so it dodges/reduces the Customs charge? I'm sure I've heard people pull that stunt before and it worked...

Ask them to mark "Gift" on the package.

That's the one - is it a sure-fire method though, or is it down to luck?

I've never had a problem with the method.

Right, well they emailed me back and are happy to mark it down. Now just got to decide if I should buy now or wait until I'm off my holiday :D

If I order before this Friday, I'll get it before my holiday guaranteed.

Decisions decisions...(this isn't easy y'know!)

I would get one, except I have a GC and a DVD player already. And no money. :D

Well the main reason I'm getting one is because I'm going to have to leave my GC and DVD player at home when I eventually move out - so if I have this, it's all good!

The main obstacle is justifying the cost to my girlfriend/parents :D

They'll be cool though - I have interest free credit until Feb!

Why do you have to leave your GC and DVD player?

Are they built in to the wall or something?

My sis plays on the GC more than me, so being the nice guy I am, I'm going to leave it for her.

The DVD player - well, the only decent multi-region one in the house isn't mine, so really I don't have a decent player to take with me - the Panasonic Q is multi-region though, just what I need :D

Yeah, that's cool. I wasn't asking for you to justify your purcahse though Bullett, people buy what they like! I bought a US GC last year in April, and sold it two months later for less. I got a freeloader instead.

Moral is, um, yeah, I'm an idiot. :D

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
Easy and free service!
I think it's fab that you provide an easy-to-follow service, and even better that it's free...!
