Oh my word! If Goatboy's review friends were right, then well, err we have a lot of unhappy Americans! Ah well, they're too fat to get angry about it or do anything so I guess they won't bother warning us!

The trailers have started and look sensationally amateurish - I mean eeek! Ah well, I'm going to see it for sure and I imagine a lot of you will too.

But really, FORTY SEVEN MILLION? That's an incredible amount for the first week of showing - average USA ticket price would be around £3 I suppose (they get EVERYTHING cheaper than us) (even ford focus', or should that be Foci?) so have 16million USAians been subjected to Miss Jolie's jolly parade of spectacular stunts and 'woeful' acting? Or did they...like it?

If Goatboy gets word of this he'll fumigate at the toenails, and I don't quite know what that means so watch out!

Anyhoo, Angelin- Lara Croft is one of the most (in)famous games characters of all time, and has been realised (as in made real) into a promising young actress who may well have wrecked her career - but I doubt it.

So, who's going to watch it?

But go lookit, if 8.5million of 250 million people went, that ain't much, if figures go exactly the same here, only around 400,000 will see it in it's first week!!

I'm sorry but your analysis is floored, I have done some research of my own and found that American Cinema Tickets are more expensive than those in the UK (Yes I couldn't believe it either) From my Quick research I found American (USA) cinema tickets to be on average about £7 for adults and £4 for children and concessions. Excluding London (Where an Average ticket is also about £7) UK cinema tickets are priced between £3 and £5 for adults.
So based on my research the average ticket price to see Tomb Raider in America is £5.50 (based on 50/50 adult and child/concession ticket sales) which in turn means just over 8.5 million people saw Tomb Raider in its opening week.
My final point is that Tomb Raider is a PG-13 (Chidren admitted but "Some material may be inappropriate for children under 13").so how many of the 8.5 million "USAians" were simply accompanying their children ?

And they're not totally real anyway. Angelina admitted she needed a bit of a boost to get the full Lara physique.

Oh well, it should boost Kleenex sales when it's released on DVD.

Who cares. It's one of those films that no matter how bad it is, you go and see it anyway. It's a Tomb Raider movie for God's sake, how long have all you dateless wonders been waiting for this?

Joke.

Shrek is amazing. This I find strange, I thought I had grown out of my kiddie stage, but Shrek has reignited it for me, along with the originality of Jak and Daxter and Herdy Gerdy.

PS - Don't tell any Ninty fans I said this!!! PLEASE!!!
