I got a cube today and I am kinda looking for advice on games to purchase. I recieved Mario Kart: DD and F-Zero GX with it as I like racers and those two games are superb. I also like Shoters, RPGs and Sports games.
Don't bother with Luigi's Mansion either.

Ooh, sounds brilliant.

Hmmm... Sounds Good. Yes, I have played Gradius before and loved it. I'll look into it.

Yeah, I love WW and Mario Sunshine. Played them over at a mate's house once and he cpouldn't get me off the GameCube!

It looks good and it's Luigi, fer god's sake! That will be purchased if it is the last game ever. Or something....

I am kinda sharing the Gamecube with a mate and he wants Pikmin so I'll have to give in as we payed £40/£40 for the Gamecube.
A massive RPG, easily the best on the cube.
If RPGs didn't bore me after 20 hours, I'd still be playing it now.

Metroid Prime, Wind Waker, Mario Sunshine and Mario Kart: Double Dash.
Games like Skies, Viewtiful Joe, Twin Snakes, Pacman Vs., Eternal Darkness, Super Monkey Ball are all essential games but have more of a cult following.
Paper Mario 2 is a title that'll also be good to own if you are interested in the more specialist titles.
Although Pikmin 2 and Metroid Prime 2, both due the Christmas, will be both essential.
> Sorry, never heard of it.
It's a classic arcade-style shooter - Ever played Gradius or R-type or such?Similar to those, but hypnotic and absolutely brillaint. High scoring makes you go insane.

Wind Waker is immense, throughly enjoyable and worthy of the Zelda name whilst Sunshine is my favourite game ever (no, I'm not insane).
Luigi's Mansion is a game that's over in about 6 hours, but very ehjoyable (no replay value, though).
If you're in no rush, I'd wait for Pikin 2, if I were you, as it's supposed to be a vast improvement (and gets rid of the blasted time limits).
> Add Ikaruga to that list.
Sorry, never heard of it.
> And Mario Sunshine, Zelda and co.
Yeah, I already have four definites to add to F-Zer GX and Double Dash. Within the week, I shall be getting Zelda: WW, Mario Sunshine, Luigi's Mansion and Pikmin.
