Nope. Runs as perfectly today as it did the day I bought it.
And it's been 'vertical' since the day after launch, which puts paid to the claims that running PS2 vertically buggers it up.

Well my Ps2 is giving some problems. I hope it doesn't get spoilt beyond repair.
I got mine Second Hand and it's model numer is : 30003 R
