Had my first one for two years, then my recent Aqua one for two months. Sold them both now.
3 Years old last month. Been vertical the entire time and never cleaned.

Got it when it first came out, it wont play the blue CD Roms anymore though and seems to take ages to load up games. Thinking of replacing it and getting a silver one I heard they are not compatible online though and when we eventually get broadband I want to be able to use it
Getting extremely bored with my PS2, considering selling it the other day but can't hold out for San Andreas on Xbox
Just disc read errors developed after about 2 yrs. Got laser lens cleaner which sort of helped but just delayed its demise really.

you lot talk about problems with youre PS2. What problems? I would like to know incase something happens to mine.
I always heard vertical was better for it.
