The Healer, Mr Mojo himself has passed on.
Damn.
And Hearsay are releasing a new single soon
There is absolutely no justic in this world.
John Lee Hooker
RIP
"Boom Boom Boom Boom...gonna shoot you right down...."
VH1 isn't bad, but a bit predictable.
VH1 Classic has some great old clips on it (60s and 70s rock amongst other things).
Kerrang! doesn't have enough videos, and it's catering for all the popular (and about to be popular) metal bands. They don't seem to be taking many risks at the moment.
Q is a bit too laid back and MOR.
The Box/Smash Hits is all the worst music in the world, crammed into two channels.
As for the various dance/hip hop channels, I can't really comment, as I don't know enough about the genres. Anyone care to enlighten me which is the best? Kiss seems pretty good to my dance music virgin ears.
Can't remember the last time I turned that on and there was actually music on.
Just seemed like adverts for albums.
Luckily you still

What?!? ... The rudness of them making me pay a licence fee for this?!? ...
I dont see any of the other channels plauing music that the majority of people dont want to listen to!
Just felt like ranting was all.
But normal service has been resumed with an added dose of sanity.
Jools Holland - quite possible the coolest person on a music show ever.
Luckily you still get programmes on terrestrial TV like Later with Jools Holland that tries to cover a range of styles. It's not enough though.
Which is more valid musically? (And if ANYONE thinks Hearsay are, gimme your address and I'll pop round and change your mind for you).
I was raised listening to Hooker, he meant a lot musically to me, and he died.
That's all, and I felt it was wrong that nobody mentioned it.
Just my opinion on the loss of a great man.
And, to borrow from Hicks, if you dont like me mentioning Hooker, dont bring up Jesus to me.
Talk about shelf-life
I have to confess that I have never heard any of his music as I dislike that genre. However, anyone who can keep on performing into their 80s gets my full respect.
Every day dozens of people die who have had a profound affect on the ways that we live our lifes. I'm sorry that this guy is dead but we simply can't mourn every good person who dies. The best we can do is remember our history and our heritage, but keep on moving forward -not dwelling too much on the past.
Please, dont let this legend die without you ever having heard him.
The last of the Delta Bluesmen has passed away, dont let him be forgotten.
