Following the recent news announcement ( http://uk.special.reserve.co.uk/n_3205-news.html ) that the Nintendo DS will be launched with several different colours in mind, which ones would you like to see?

Oh, and what do you folk think this mysterious port is for, at the back of the DS? Initially I think its probably something to do with revolution, but when Nintendo go on about this third pillar business I suppose its impossible to tell.

Microphone? Built in.
Internet/Revolution/DS connectivity? Wireless.

The port?

A space for the "analogue stick" add on? HAS TO BE!!! :-)

Well, I can dream! :-)

It makes sense that it is a mic port, like on a minidisc where you have the headphone jack and the control stick thing next to it and it all slots in at once, you got the headphones and mic all attached on one thing for an Offical headset and mic coming off it probably.

Followed by hundreds of cheap knock-offs from companies like Datel.

Surly though a microphone will really help it?

IGN thinks its a microphone.

Well if it is a microphone socket that would only increase the effectiveness of the voice regonition technology the new styled DS already comes equipped with at the very bottom under the screen with all the buttons. I would hope to think it is something like an internet connectivity socket or something similar.

Surly pushing the release forward so much without any hype is dangerous...

Then again it cashes in on Christmas....

Hmmmm.

Could it not be a microphone socket?

I was always under the impression that:

Japan/US - November
Europe/Australia - March

Meh, either way suits me. November and its my Christmas present, March and its (near enough) my Birthday present.

So rah...and thanks Nintendo.

It was said in the Pikmin 2 Commercial interview I think, unless I misread. God, I love that advert. :-D

Hang on...do you know something I don't? As last I heard it was March 05 hear and either October or November stateside.

However I've noticed CVG/Nintendo Magazine's website state that Dynasty Warriors for the NDS is released on 1st October...

Isnt the NDS meant to be voice activated? So maybe th port could be for some headset, for the wireless stuff, maybe?
