A few people asked for this to be created and so here we go.
Trusting everyone has their copy now, so let the fun begin tonight.
I, along with several others will be on Xbox but i know some are Ps3, but its the same game so no point in two threads!

A very valid point Chris, totally agree.
1. (most common for me) i get killed by their powerful guns and 24/7 gameplay skills
2. Because they moan when they get killed by someone lower than them.
I always wonder wether CoD and similar games would be the same without ranks.... just upgrades.

Thanks Chris for your reply. However, I do not sit outside of a 'spawn point' because in MW2 'free for all' they vary. I have in fact been killed at a spawn point, just because I spawned at the wrong time.
Neither do I sit in the same place for the entire 'game'. You have to rest, reload, take stock of the situation - ie where the 'red dots' are etc etc - however, staying still does indicate your position to others - so you move!
So then you get complete w....... giving you grief - why, because you shot them as they just happened to amble across your line of sight and then you get the 'vengence' attacks - players who cannot take being taken out time and time again by a 'new person' just because they are level 500 and it shouldn't happen!
Well, it does and in a 'real world' battle simulation it does 'shake your frame' - you don't re-spawn!
So, why take it so seriously - to level up would be the obvious answer.............the more you kill with your 'blue-assed' attitude the more you gain in your 'karma' .... ha ha what a laugh :-D
Pathetic
I'm an old granddad, who has never ventured into 'online game play' until I read your posts regarding MW2.
I've now managed to achieve level 9 within the last few days, have unlocked a multitude of weapons and accolades, which is better than the 'pea-shooter' I started with, etc etc - so many extras I don't really know what to do with them.
I'm quite happy taking part in 'free-for-all' but occasionally I get 'voice' messages, even though I don't have audio on, calling me a 'camper'.
Now, I do know about 'camping' because I've read gaming magazines for years, and I don't think hiding behind a barrel/wall/door etc etc is 'camping' - but what are you supposed to do in multiplayer?
Run around like 'blue-assed' flies like all the level 30 - 70's I've come up against and who I've also shot! - I'm sure in modern day warfare as it was in the old days - WW1 and WW2, you kept your head down and waited, then moved - it certainly was when I was in!
Another thing, if you have a 'sniper rifle' on offer - what else can you be doing but 'camping'! You cannot use it for 'street-fighting' unless you're hidden, up high on a roof as some of the so called 'secrets' seem to suggest or whatever.....
Please explain, it would be gratefully appreciated
If you have Modern Warfare 2 and an Xbox 360, play it this weekend. Activision are willing to donate up to £250,000 to the War Child charity if they get 1 million UK users playing Modern Warfare 2 this weekend. 600,000 users = £150,000. £25,000 for every 100,000 users.
That and studying/website building. May see you for a game!
Happily going through the levels at the moment, not too close to prestiege but i think i will do it when i get there.
