As the most anticipated game of the year is released today, we need a place to discuss the happenings and to arrange games!

A few people asked for this to be created and so here we go.

Trusting everyone has their copy now, so let the fun begin tonight.

I, along with several others will be on Xbox but i know some are Ps3, but its the same game so no point in two threads!

I just did the toothpaste/brasso trick. Just get some white toothpaste (not gel), and rub it from the centre of the disc outwards, pushing quite hard. Then rinse off with warm water.

Or, what i use, just get a cloth, rub brasso from the centre of the disc outwards, again pushing quite hard, and then rinse off with warm water.

For drying, just leave them to dry in the air.

Of course, this doesn't work for humongous scratches, and you might have to do it a couple of times for moderately big scratches, but its worked for me.

I have let MW2 slip, need to make sure i get back on soon or i will be even worse than when i was playing lol.

Need to try grab a mates disc so i can install to hard drive, then that pesky scratch on mine will no longer be a bother.

Thanks gr13ve for your wise words of wisdom and support for the point I made earlier - I totally agree with you and as it happens with a lot of the subsequent posts after yours - thanks guys:-)

Another thing is the fact that snipers are included in the games. In a real combat situation, you would never place a sniper anywhere near hand-to-hand combat, yet in CoD, they're all over the place. Suppose you have to get a balance of realism and logical features really. The sniper is completely different to all the other classes, so the game would be boring without them (although i can't stand being 'headshot'-ted from miles away >.>

Camping is a bit of a cheap tactic to be honest.

Pulled off the finest kill today. Someone flashbanged me, and while the screen was all white, I thowing knifed him in the balls from a distance. Exquisite.

Another cool kill I saw was a guy dodging bullets Wesker-style as he ran up a flight of stairs toward me before knifing me in the face.

Cold Blooded is useful, hides you from thermal also!

But i like to go through getting the challenegs done, i will then move to setting my optimal kit : D

The best perks I've come across (at level 26) are Bling (putting the Holographic scope and Heartbeat sensor on my SCAR), Stopping power and Cold Blood

Using Bling means Scavenger (picking up enemy ammo) can't be used, which is annoying if you go on a streak. And Cold Blood's great - not being picked up by enemy helicopter etc

I am a big fan of Hardcore matches due to the enemy cant see you, if your being a sniper and find a great spot then it sucks when they can just watch killcam and come get you!

I have not spent much time snipering - been using assualt rifles to do challenges etc but i will be doing it soon!

I've had a load of hassle for camping. After one match I think the whole enemy team sent me abuse. They seem to think that everyone should run about like a headless chicken. I paid 40quid for a game - I'll play it how I like.

I tend to get the same hate if I use grenade launchers, they were put in the game so I'll use them, especially seeing as I need to use it for a challenge.

I just wish some people would grow up, if I get killed a few times by a camper I don't send them abuse - it's my own fault for not being wise to where they are hiding. Do you think the army makes a phone call to the enemy and cry at them for hiding and not running out in the open to get shot.

Anyhoo, I just turned level 32 with a mix of the m4a1 and the intervention. Still experimenting on what perks I should use.
