lets get an argument goin ere lads, In my opinion it would have to be Sonic adventure when you got that best level on the emerald coast with the beach music and the whale. That really showed off the dc's skills. That is still my favourite level in all of my gaming history. The same with the 18 wheeler in the second.

Whats yours guys

altough mario is a class top game i never really rated it as a life changing type. Suppose becasue i never bought it. Only played it for a few days after my mate lent to me, and didnt really get into it that much. i bought it last week for a few squid, played it solid for a few hours and realised my collection had been missing a master-piece.

Still my first magic gaming experince came with OOT.

Golden Rhino, you mentioned the Whake bit of Emerald Coast in Sonic Adventure. What about the part in Sonic Adventure 2, when you are being chased by the truck? I thought it was really memorable! Absolutely brilliant, actually!!!!!

For me it would have to be playing Super Mario 64 for the first time... just running around in circles making myself giddy for about 2 hours was good enough for me... my childhood hero had evolved and I was free to roam about however I chose.

With brand new worlds and great ideas from Miyamoto, Mario 64 was and still is THE mother of all games. There hasn't been a game to beat it in my book. Although Conker may be funnier and MGS2 might look better there is no game on earth that, in my opinion, combines all of these elements as well as Super Mario 64.

The day it launched in the UK for me was almost indescribable... and comparable to having the excitement of 10 8-Year-Old birthdays rolled into one!

I still love the game... and that garden at the front of the castle will always hold a place in my heart...

Sorry to go all romanticy, but it's true... my 1st N64 game is still my favourite and playing it for the first time was the most memorable moment in gaming history for me!
