lets get an argument goin ere lads, In my opinion it would have to be Sonic adventure when you got that best level on the emerald coast with the beach music and the whale. That really showed off the dc's skills. That is still my favourite level in all of my gaming history. The same with the 18 wheeler in the second.

Whats yours guys

My most memorable moment was almost completing Dune on the Amiga in 1 day only to find out that the game had crashed and couldn't be completed.

I too upgraded from a C64 to an Amiga... quite a moment, Bart vs The Space Mutants seemed incredible back then...Captain Planet was Colourful. WWF Games with HulkHogan and the Ultimate Warrior, wow, the Graphics looked so good compared to my C64.

I would say the most memorable moment in Gaming history (Apart from the first game Pong!) was the release of Mario64...this game was such an amazing advance from the 2D Mario that we all knew and love, and the game was also superb! The Game that showed us 3D could work for any genre, even platform games, so long as enough effort was made at the design stage.

Zelda did the best a cart game could do. There was music in it that captured the emotion at the right moments. Zelda was all about music in fact! the ocarina played a huge part. Each timed i banged out a tune on it it mad me feel alive.

one thing that shenmue can capture which the n64 games cant is music tension and emotional drama. Like in any film they use music to change the theme. This uses piano or a violin or something,. It is all prffesionally done and it makes you think how well they have done.

Zelda could not do that aswell as Shenmue

Yeah thats somthin else that makes a game great apart from the gameplay: the story line. if the game can capture you emotionally it can be classed as a magic game. only Zelda and Conker has done it for me.

what puzzles me the most is shenmue is only half dc pixel rate. Shenmue 2 is 3/4 and it is out this November and it will be amazing. I think it is the second best game ever made so far. The story is so great and emotional.
