There's no other word for it. Offline, the game is superb, and when you can actually get into an online game this is the same case. But for the love of God, why does it have to be so goddamned difficult to get into a bloody online game?!
The frequent starting and stopping and starting again of loading, the way the game keeps crashing on the menu screens, the horrendously poor connections... I bet none of this would be happening if EA didn't insist on running their online games through their own servers instead of through Microsoft's. I thought the whole point of Xbox Live was that Microsoft controlled and provided all the servers?
I'll stick to the offline game with this, I think. I'm far from impressed with the online mode.
*spits on EA*

No it's 118 now you fool.

True enough, but if you want to play it badly enough then it's better than nothing.
Anyway if anyone wants to join me later I'll probably be hosting in the French lobby. :D

EA wanted the money to go to them, not MS. It's an understandable decision.
EA decided not to use the MS servers. Look at what has happened because of this. Every other developer doesn't have any problems with the arrangement, it's just the money-grabbing tossfaces that are Electronic Arts.
They had better patch the game up or I'll be very disappointed - and I doubt I'll be the only one.

For the obligatory price of a percentage of each game sold going to Microsoft instead of EA, of course.
