nah it wont. They should become better. do u watch the WWF? it is more of a soap opera now then a slug fest. hopefully alot of this part of the WWF can be incorparted into the games. No mercy had a lot of story lines from the WWF and i loved the game for it. i loved unlocking all the different stories. hopefully the Gamecube version will bbuild on it. I dont want a completly new game. i just want a update of No mercy.

WWF No Mercy was great fun.

Knocking people off ladders was hillarious.

I'm not sure if the next gen ones will be as fun though. I've got a feeling that they'll get too realistic.

there were a few changes to the no mercy engine.

here they are.

1) you could throw weopons at your oponetns

2) you can drop weapons on the floor. and then pick them up again.

3) you can go backstage

4) you can slam your oponent on any weapon and the tables+pool table.

4) you can throw your opponent out of the ring with a weak grapple.

there the ones i think of at the moment.

Does the PS2 really count as a next gen console since it is already out

The game does look silly without blood. You win first blood matches without even making them bleed.

No Mercy itself, although an excellent game, was not techniquly brilliant. It was little more than an update of WM2K, with a few new characters and a ladder match. There were few changes to the control systam.

Well, Smackdown 3 on PS2 comes out in Autumn, and the X-Box isn't even out then, so surely SD3 is the first next-gen wrestling game??

yes bloodless. That was a shame, not thier faults though. It was the germans fault apparently.

And 4 months aint too bad for fixing the bug. The carts are actually produced in Japan and they have to make sure they fix the problem properly. it all takes time. But the problem shouldnt have been there in the first place. But dont blame THQ entirly. AKI program it.
