It's a bloody chunky thing isn't it.
I haven't got LIVE yet but I might not, I'm not entirely sure this is a good purchase. I've played all 3 games a bit but I keep going back to Second Sight on the Gamecube.
As a Gamecube owner I do miss a really good First Person shooter, and as great as Timesplitters is the idea of owning Halo was something I couldn't resist. I also miss out on realistic racing games as a Gamecube owner.
The sad thing is, now I've played 2 games that are the top of their genre I now feel slightly empty.
For starters Project Gotham is a good racing title but I've never really been able to enjoy these sort of games.
Grabbed by the Gholies is as crap as I remember.
I played Halo for a bit but I've come to realise that this is just another FPS. And one that doesn't have the depth of Perfect Dark either. It is the finest all round FPS of this generation but it doesn't do anything special at all. In fact at times I felt the urge to play Metroid Prime, something I haven't done in an age.
Anyway enough about the criticism, I'm sure I'll get into all of the above games and I'm sure I'll enjoy Blinx, The Suffering, Jet Set Radio: Future and whatever else my mate plans to lend me.
The console has 3 weeks to impress or it goes back. Mainly because of my 30 day no quibble return policy.

That's incredibly short sighted of you hedfix, you don't even know me.
No need to go throw a fit because I said you have no taste, it was just a joke calm down.
I constantly say I can't play long games because I don't have time to play them... mainly because I'm out a weekends and working the evening and at uni during the day.
Which is nothing compared to the N64.
However, compared to the CDs I own that's nothing.
Music may very well be my 'religion' but thankfully it's not a music COMPANY.

I don't treat a console company like a religion: I have a life.
Then you might not want to sell it.

That's a bit hypocritical. Are you telling me you only come on here to agree with everyone? Or do you come on here to discuss and debate?
In which case, pick up a life when you log off :P

I do have a lot of Ninty stuff (not just the games) but I agree, that's not what makes a fan.
I am a fan because I am. Because I really enjoy the games, the products, and the whole Nintendo image. Because I can laugh at the humourous parts and accept their flaws. And because as much as I do play other systems, I'll always go back to Nintendo - unless they stop catering for gamers.

Yep the multi on its own is a better game.
