Another thing that Ninty always pull off on their consoles, is to make them do things that they were never meant to. For example, the SNES was NEVER meant to handle 3d polygon graphics... but Ninty found ways to do this and pull off Starfox. With the N64, Ninty introudced the expansion pack to allow games to increase textures and the like.
What will they pull off with the GC? Obviously it is impossible to forsee, but if I were Ninty then I might be thinking about motion sensors... or even some kind of internet updates like a digicam.

Of course!
And remember, the HDD is to store thjings from the web... which means u need to buy a modem too! WOW! Now that's marketting!

The only add on I would like at the moment is the PS2 HDD, which as Bonus said should really of been standard. This opens the PS2 up to a variety of gaming platforms that are currently closed off, the Championship Manager series for example. Not everybody’s cup of tea but a big bonus to a software portfolio I think you’ll agree.

True, but many little kids probably hadn't bothered with the expansion pack. Therefore, by selling it with a bright, vibrant game, kids would have bought it.
And it was not ninty who were doing thje marketting... it was THE games!

It's interesting to note that some of the only PSX games not to work on the PS2 are those made late in the console's life when developers were using the hardware in a way that it was not designed for, thus squeesing every last ounce out of it!
