Me and my chum Venombyte were just chatting about the closure of the last story. We've come to the conclusion that we need more writers... and since there are a lot more people on here than there were half a year ago, I think it's time to try and encourage more people to write.
So, we've come up with the idea of a short story competition... it's a nice little idea, that should get more people writing, so we have a good idea of their talents.
This also applies to the CURRENT writers. I.E. Me, Pb, Meka, Ant... so on. You can write a story too.
If you're interested in this, please state so below/above, so I've got a good idea of figures. Then... I'll think of what you can write about. :0)

I forgot about that one!
I'll have a think during today, mine wont have drama, intrigue and excitement.
It will have jokes about chickens, bungee jumping midgets called Brian and several references to pants-kebabs.
Probably

Game
I'm on a training course next week, so no internet access, so I'll try to get at least one of the stories down on paper. Unfortunately it won't use any of the starting points, as it starts at a funeral....
But maybe I'll try to take one of those paths for another story, and see where it takes me....
Stories don't have to be a specific length. Marks will be awarded for keeping the readers interest, humour, plot, and just about anything else I can think of.
Ok. There are three starting points, each one harder than the next. You will get more marks for choosing the harder ones... but if you've got a good idea for the easier ones, go for it.
Ok. Please choose which story you will write about, by writing the letter in a post. These are all first lines to a story.
(A) “An old friend was at the door, with an offer that was difficult to refuse…”
(B) “I’m telling you. It spoke to me… don’t ask me why it chose me, but it did.”
(C) “The six of spades? What’s so significant about the six of spades?”
Good luck.
