Me and my chum Venombyte were just chatting about the closure of the last story. We've come to the conclusion that we need more writers... and since there are a lot more people on here than there were half a year ago, I think it's time to try and encourage more people to write.
So, we've come up with the idea of a short story competition... it's a nice little idea, that should get more people writing, so we have a good idea of their talents.
This also applies to the CURRENT writers. I.E. Me, Pb, Meka, Ant... so on. You can write a story too.
If you're interested in this, please state so below/above, so I've got a good idea of figures. Then... I'll think of what you can write about. :0)
No time limit. Unless it too long, and then I'll just say that I want them handed in.
Writing stories is something everyone should do. The more you practise it, the better you get. I'm not going to judge you harshly, because that's not the point. The fact is that you write a story.
I decided to use the starting points, because it will help you to learn how to get out of difficult situations when writing. You've GOT to use one... but don't worry if you would prefer to use an easier one of the three, because you won't be marked down that much.
I can't stress enough how bad fight scenes are normally though. If you REALLY want to write one, go ahead, but you'll have a hard time making it readable.
Also, i seem to be at my most imaginative around midnight, not sure why, but thats when i try and write stuff like this.
