Although the N64 is supposedly dead or Dying it is being regenerated through increased sales in second hand games. Nintendos sales are still remaining at a reasonably high rate for an ageing console and this is partially due to increased supply of these games. Although there are still some great games such as excitebike and Conkers:BFG which you will still buy brand new there are many classics still out there which many shops no longer sell such as the exelent snowboard kids which i got for £12 or Worms for £10 just yesterday i Found a copy of resident evil for an unbelievebly low £10. Just as you think your favourite games console is dying you will find that it has a life still left in it. These older games can keep you occupied for hours and can keep you going for a low price whilst waiting for the new games to come out.

Quake II is OK (although not better) in comparison. Try EB as they give it away as a freebie with some of the N64 games.

I sold my copy recently after going back to it after playing Timesplitters on PS2 and lost all faith in it.

Has anyone seen a copy of Tony Hawks anywhere? I have heard of a copy for sale at £60 - not exactly value for money.

Yeah, i bought quite a few 2nd hand games for N64. Just trying to widen the variety in my collection. i ogt about 25 games now. In the last few weeks i got 1080,mario 64 and mario kart. all for £20. Baargain i tell ya! i only got the carts though, no instructions or box. its okay though, the carts dont need to stay in a box and the games are easy to get into.

Ild agree, one of the best things about the N64 is the games are cart based. They dont get scratched and so second hand they tend to work. My personal all time Bagain for the N64 was Quake11 for £2, which was cheaper than cheap.
