The "General Games Chat" forum, which includes Retro Game Reviews, has been archived and is now read-only. You cannot post here or create a new thread or review on this forum.
I suggest this. Just enjoy UKdiscussions.com. It's not life or death, it's not important, it won't change your life, it's just a bunch of discussion forums. If you are thinking of leaving, fine - that doesn't mean you can't come back another time. Why announce your 'departure' from the forums, when you can just not come on for a bit and go out and enjoy the sunshine?
People come on here to enjoy themselves. They find the kind of people they like and latch onto them, small communities have already formed and with this 'class' system, it has become clear what you people are like. People make friends in this forum. Through these forums we can watch your behaviour, and see you develop as writers, as reviewers and generally develop as human beings. It's interesting, think of it as a social experiment like Big Brother. The point is, these forums are FUN. You come on here, chat with a few people, maybe win something then leave for a bit - it's no big deal. We won't hunt you down if you go away - this isn't Hard Target and I'm not Jean-Claude Van-Damme.
My message is this. If you want to leave, fine. Good luck. But just remember, you make these forums what they are and without the smart, witty and intelligent posters, the quality will dip and less people will enjoy them. So have a rethink. Make them more fun if you think they are lacking something. Suggest stuff, we always listen to people's suggestions and usually act on them if they are valid points. So stay, or go out and have a life out in the sunshine with the real people. Who wants that?

Thanks Ali, but you didnt have to...really
Good topics only come about when funny/clever people start them, when something original and funny is started, it becomes popular and is carried on from there.
Well, I do try
