We all know that this 'Class System' doesn't work. we get Newbies spamming to become regulras because the think it will gain them some more respect. Which it doesn't. But that doesn't stop them. Now with the added "Regular Only Forum" Newbies are going to spam more and more just so they can have access to that particular forum.

Well instead of having the Class System based on number of posts and words why not have it based on how long they've actually been here??!?!?! It'll stop the spamming to become a regular as that won't have anything to do with it. Let's say you had to be here for 75 days to become a Regular.

I think this would work much better than the current system. Anyway, let me know what you think!

i think instead of a time system there should be a vote to that simular to the notable election, so when a newbie reachs a set number of replies/words, other regulars/the notables vote whether or not the newbie should become a regular

Yeah, that's quite nice. Perhaps the days could be a bit longer... perhaps one month exactly? That's not that long, considering how long you will remain a regular.

At least 50 days then it does not matter how much spamming you do the qualification period is still restricted and people will hopefully stop posting rubbish in a few days just to become a regular.

Just to make this properly clear.

Newbies would have to do 300 posts of 10,000 words or more AND they would have to be signed up for a minimum of 21 days.

50 days, you can not go into a pub for 21 days and then be seen as a regular.

Just to make that clear. Newbies would have to do 300 posts of 7500 words in 21 days.

Perhaps the word count should be a bit higher.

300 posts
10,000 words
21 days

All ye who say yay?

Well at the moment the settings are 300 posts and 7500 words. So shall we set the minumum days at 21 days as well?

Or longer or shorter?

What about an average then? The amount of words over the amount of posts have to be over a certain amount.
