We all know that one of Nintendos biggest downfalls is its inability to commission any really good advertising.
The current news also indicates that Nintendo are on a rocky financial footing and are looking to the GBA / DS to keep them afloat.
The loss of some of the big names in game production during the Gamecubes life hasn't helped but can you blame any company for pulling the plug when outlay exceeds income!
Will the success of the GBA/DS really decide Nintendos fate or will someone at the top finally get to grips with some real 'in yer face' advertising for their next home console?
Heres hoping................!!!

...And a get rid of the Purple.
It's UUUUUUUGLY.
:D
They may pull it round yet.
Nintendo have to utterly nail a wider market. The kids are too cool for school, the adults are either clever and play Cube or just silly and don't. Hard drive, every blinking third party game under the sun + the usual genius exclusives + online play as an option, would make the Revolution rule. Basically, make it a Nintendo Xbox. Which would be insanely good, simply because it's Nintendo with the best bits of the Xbox, minus all the rubbish.

HD + Custom Soundtracks + A plethora of decent online titles?
I won't hold my breath, although I'm cautiously optimistic for the next console.
Anyone heard of a CD player/PC/ANYTHING that plays music?!!
Stereo's pfft. Not when you listen to music as loud as I do.

I admit I love retro games, and the GBA is PERFECT for it. I know the GC has some good titles but I already own a PS2 and as excited as I was about the GC coming out (that GC advert was amazingly good was it not?) I just haven't bought one yet...
Now, they're gonna release the DS...I'll admit I'm sceptical but then I thought the XBOX was gonna sink but they've turned things around. I just hope they keep making games for the GBA, as it pulls in some nice revenue for them.
Eternally a GBA fan (playing FF Tactics as I'm typing this) =P
I can have Rage, Mars Volta, anyone at pretty damn high levels and still hear. It's a semi-redundant feature, especially as my TV speakers are awful.
