This was splashed all over the front of the local paper on Saturday. The headline today said that a 19 year old had been arrested and that they were hoping to make further arrests. I've just read another article saying that he'd been released on bail. They haven't released his name probably because feelings are running quite high around here about this.

I'd put it to the back of my mind but it has just been on Radio 5 live. Apparantly it was a miniture Yorkshire Terrier and she was 11 years old.

They should fetch new rules and laws in for people who commit acts of cruelty on any level.

New rule: Any act of cruelty will be reciprocated in kind.

I'll be first in the queue if they'd just give me a box of fireworks and five minutes alone with them.

It is bizarre isn't it...have to wonder why.

Love the usual knee-jerk 'If this is how kids are, God help this country'

Yup, hands up, 13 dogs to my name, sorry guv'ner.

But yeah, tis grim.

The only question that stays on my mind is what brings people to do this?

I'm talking about unnecessary cruelty.

Ack, hate people that do things like that. Some sick buggers last year put an airbomb in the mouth of a Golden Retriever and then taped up its jaws, poor dog had to be put down.

In a lot of civilised places animal cruelty is a very small offence in the eyes of the law.

What I really hate is some other countries attitudes towards cruelty towards animals.

WARNING. Contains images of dancing bear. Don't click the link if you're an @rse and likely to complain about it.

We can't use the word "@rse" yet can link to snuff and animal cruelty? Groovy.
