I'm sure there's much more to it than I'm seeing right now, guess I have to be patient. It's wonderfully charming though, not quite the levels of Earthbound, but nice enough.
I want my little Elf guy to learn self-defence though, because those police dogs don't look like they'd do much to prevent crime, especially giving me all the lost and found items.
Can I become a superhero? I'll have to design my own costume, naturally.
Pah, i'll probably go back to it at halloween, then christmas for the presents. And to hit people.

Just trying to complete collections and playing NES games.
I find it a very enjoyable game so far, not quite as wonderful as Harvest Moon (which is just fantastic)... but a sorta different type of game.
The only fun I had was putting a Swastika on my t-shirt and running around the village hitting people with my bug catching net.

You can just do what I did, change the GC's internal clock to different dates to take advantage of the different events.
