"Super Heroes?"

My local rugby team are having their halloween fundraiser in a few weeks and the theme this year is super heroes and villains.

I need suggestions for male and female super heroes for me and a few friends, I've been browsing the web for a while and have found quite a few ideas but the more info the better for this one I think.

Need ones that I could either hire, make or buy the costume for. So either is someone well known or someone with an easy to make costume.

But I'm open to all the suggestions you guys can give.

The Punisher would be easy to do, black T-shirt with a white skull on it and a long black coat - sorted.

I thought of Flash gordon and was going to persuade my mate to dress up like brian blessed with some big wings but he said no.

He's let me down more than he will ever know.... :-(

Got any elderly relatives in a home? Nick a wheelchair from there, shave your head, and go as Professor X.

Also: Wolverine? How have you not made your mind up to go as him already?
