I've won a game and don't know what to claim.

Never really like doing these posts but I really haven't a clue. Was gonna claim FIFA 2006 (before you comment I like FIFA, I know it's not as great as Pro Evo and this game features a Pro Evo control method) but SR do not stock it.

Which I find intensely unusual, I can only guess there was some problem with their supplier or something.

Anyway.

I'm looking at Gun, King Kong, Fire Emblem and Batallion Wars as potential alternatives despite their placement being in november.

Unfortunatly I haven't a clue how good any of them are and I've never played a Fire Emblem game (although I trust Intelligent Studios greatly).

Any recommendations from the experienced game followers on my favourite Nintendo forum?

Dringo.

Looks like Gun and Fire Emblem are the only real choices.

I've asked SR why FIFA 2006, Batallion Wars, King Kong, Mario Smash soccer and Mario Baseball aren't on their list and they didn't respond.

Shame.

Gamecube is really dying. It's so sad - this once mighty console has now just withered away. It's Ninty's fault for not advertising it properly. But at least the DS is being heavily supported with decent software, so Ninty is doing something right.

There is hope for the future, but Zelda side there is no hope for the Gamecube.

I may get a 360... can't actually afford it so hope to win it... or something.

Out of those listed, I'd say Fire Emblem. It's predecessors have been very well received and I personally enjoyed what I have played. If you like strategy games, that is the perfect choice for you.

Of course, if you're more of a actiony person, you could go for King Kong.

Otherwise, you could always get a game that you currently want- but just can't be bothered to pay for, or simply hasn't gotten very good views(such as Geist). Thus, eliminating the need to dish out any of your much-wanted cash.

You see I'm just a little undecided about this Christmas.

I could stick by the Gamecube as it dies and get Gun/Fire Emblem/Batallion Wars/Mario Smash Soccer and King Kong (if they're all any good).

Or I could opt for a DS for Christmas (although this'll be all i'd get for Christmas) and claim Mario Kart DS and Castlevania.

OR I could wait and see if I come into any money and get an X-box 360 and claim some 360 titles.

It's all a bit confusing.

I'm in a similar dilemma, but I reckon I'll claim FEAR, seeing as it will be ready for me when I get home. I don't play games much (or at all) at uni but I've only been here a while so things might change. Spartan Total Warrior is out already but there are no reviews yet, so I wonder if it's any good. Maybe I'll get that if it's a decent length.
