This happened about 3 weeks ago now, thought i'd share:

Me and my girlfriend were going pretty well together, we had a good thing going, met the parents you could say i loved her. But out of the blue her best mate tells me shes cheating on me with some guy, naturally i deny this, but decide to confront her.

My girlfriend lauches into a fit of rage about the whole thing, we have an arguement things were said and she stormed out of my flat in a right old strop.

A week later after were on speaking terms, and one afternoon she sends an email with pictures with her and another guy having sex and something that dogs are renound for. Naturally i was devastated heart broken and in a mess.

The next day i look at the email again to make sure it wasn't a nightmare, sure enough theres still pictures of my EX-gf getting a mouthful. i think of what to do, wether to just move on or be bitter for a while.

The result was i moved on, right after i printed all the pictures and posted them in person through her parents door. if only i could of seen her dads face. Revenge is sweet and comes with a warm tingly feeling inside.

Who needs dignity Celestine, if you just walk away then you're pretty much letting her win the battle as well as the war, atleast this way she'll think twice about being a female-dog and sending off photos to guys she's cheated on. *smile*

So you're saying that hurting her face to face is a much better idea?

Are you suggesting i beat the hell out of her, because o yes what a man i would be.

Posting an envelope of pictures of her addressed to Tim McCullin (not trying to drop names or anything) was what i'd call a manly thing to do.

Kind of the point. There's no shame in it.
You've sort of cottoned onto some good ideals for your way of life and the like but I think it's always a bad idea to try and take some sort of "moral highground". I mean, you're as human as the rest of us, right? :-)

What is remise? Is that reminicse? Oh, you're happy that you've attempted to hurt her back, in an indirect cowardly way? Nice. Well, I'm happy for you if you're happy about yourself. I hope that one day soon, you'll move on from all of this and realize what I said is just the rationally mature way to handle these situations. They can, and do quite frequently, get very ugly and you've just scaved by on the "white trash" meter yourself.

What a load of b o ll ocks, you don't need to gloat about things when they leave you feeling very pleased with yourseld, you just sit and reminis and sometimte allow others to share in your new found state of happiness.

I don't salute him. The whole situation is awful and purposefully setting out to hurt people is just not my cuppajo. In theory, however, I suppose it all works out. She hurt you, you indirectly hurt her back. I still don't think you got your satisfaction, or you wouldn't be gloating about it.

I understand how it feels to be cheated on. It sucks to extremes to feel that betrayal when you really put your heart into loving someone. I just walked away and it left him feeling like the biggest loser and ass, down on his knees begging for me to take him back. As a matter of fact, he's still sick about what he's done and still harrassing me for having moved on..especially with Grix. Yeah, that really set him off the deep end fer shur. Heh.

I think in reacting, you've chosen to stoop to her level, somewhat. Chose to respond..and just walk away with no regard. You'll be the bigger person for it and again, have preserved your dignity. Don't look back, because there's so much better out there.

I <3 Grix. :P
