Just been down to Woolworths, Blockbuster, Asda and Whsmiths and all of them are waiting for delivery of stock. Stupid Woolworths got my hopes up by putting out the empty boxes on the shelves and then told me that they haven't received any stock yet.
Along with that though Gameplay, Play.com and a few other webistes don't have any stock either. For such a big game it's not exactly a very impressive launch.
Anyway, just phoned Gamestation and they've got stock so I'm off to catch a bus into Liverpool city center.
It might not be a long game but it's a f***ing treck to get it on release day.

I'm contemplating picking it up at the high street if I see it today. Of course that'd be stupid when I have it as a GAD prize, but I've really been looking forward to it.
Just to add a kick to the nuts, had loads of post this morning through the door. Seems like everybody who could have possibly contacted us did. I heard my Mum say "wow ! loads of post this morning !" and I was in bed thinking "Yay ! Fable must be in the mail !"
I heard her opening a load of it for like 2 minutes, then came the knock on my door and I was practically smiling from ear to ear. She then basically chucked a credit card application letter at me. So I ended up sitting there with the face of a kicked dog.

Just got back from town with my copy. Traded in Burnout 3 and a couple of others and got Fable and Timesplitters 2, so I actually saved money in the long run.
I'm off to play.
