Can someone actually give me a full explaination of communism? I know it's the whole do everything get paid equally but i'm sure there's much more to it than that, otherwise it's obvious why it wouldn't work from the beginning.
Communism is basically the endless "ideal" world that Karl Marx believed would be created after the Proletarian (or lower class) revolution. It would follow on from the capitalist stage, where the Bourgoisie, or middle class would rule, which would itself have followed on from the monarchical initial stage. Marx was quite clear about how the world would get to this stage, but didnt really think the communist stage through, as he thought that people would just rule themselves and there would be no money because everyone was equal. He saw the whole of human history as a class stuggle, which the Proletariat would eventually win. As it has been said many times, its a nice idea, but pretty much doomed to fail.
