Hey, it seams clear from the millions of posts me and bonus put on today (I put on about 60 and counting!), that between us we know everything about hardware... resolutions, 3d engines, buffers, I/O specs...

So if anyone has any technical questions post em here... and if you know the answer to posted question answer them... it's not just me and Bonus who will post the answers!

BTW, I have not consulted Bonus over this topic... he has no knowledge of it... until he reads this!

no.. it doesnt... multiple data means just that...

the data can come from multiple sources...

Graphics card, Primary RAM, Hard Drive...

or all come from the same primary source (main RAM)

i.e. a list of interers stored in array, you
> are wrong, that is not up for discussion!!

I'm afraid it is... (having just popped to the Intel site myself to see what they had to say...)

you've got to remeber that

'+10' & '*8'command on a MD chip wont be delt with on a MD chip as

- == input 1

= == input 2

*8 - ///\\\ - output
+10 = ///\\\ - output

it will be delt with as

+* - ///\\\ - output
810 = ///\\\ - output

Are you sure your not getting Multiple Input and Multiple Data mixed up?

Nope you are wrong sonny, the multiple data has to be instructions of the same type,

i.e. a list of interers stored in array, you are wrong, that is not up for discussion!!

Get it??

MIMD (multiple instruction multiple

Multiple instruction = "add 10" "multiply

multiple data = 300 integers

Well??

Nope...

Multiple instructions = '+10' '*3'
Multiple Data = Primary RAM, Data From Graphic Card, Held on HD (data from different sources (although the differenct sources may all be from one place)

And a wider pipeline would allow you to carry through more than one operation at once, or put a single piece of data through several processes one after the other, but they work in conjunction with each other, you had me going for a minute!!
